After some retopology, texture work, and rigging, the abdomen segment has been made real

most of the hours in the morning were dedicated to fighting unity and the export scripts but we made it work!

The beehind beegins

It’s been a while since I last touched the Blender sculpting tools, but grabbing a default cube, using R and Ctrl+R and playing with the brushes a bit and it actually looks like it’s shaping up pretty well, I think!

I’ve had this pen and marker set just sitting around in the drawer for like the whole last year

So I pulled them out and have started making a pocket zine with it for when I try reaching for my phone in my pocket

Anyway it includes a well and a bucket in it

I’m very happy with the progress we’ve made on the media widget for the show! It’s inspired by the display of the MZ-R900, a fun media player that I only briefly used beefore I got an iPod

It’s a lot of fun trying to work with vrEmuLcd, though I’m still pretty hazy on the details on how the HD44780 works, and there’s some fun™ beehaviour with when I push strings that are too long into it. Still, I have ideas on how I can fix that
