I’ve run out of paper filters so I’m trying a metal reusable filter this morning

About 2 minutes later and we’ve done it

The press down had very little resistance compared to the paper filter

Also—removing a filter having 95°C water passed through it is not especially easy nor fun!

On the coffee itself: it’s good

On the filter: the result is fine if you’ve run out of paper filters, but I will reorder those paper filters. Hot metal is not fun to handle!

@flaw It looks maybe a little muddier than I normally get out of an aeropress, I might have to pick one up to try for the different texture ^^

I know this looks like a hole to the void, but the metal filter lets a lot of sediment through

@flaw Definitely, weh! Also yeah the sediment was hard for me to get past with mine. The lack of oils is tolerable for me to have the cleaner cup!
