I’m very happy with the progress we’ve made on the media widget for the show! It’s inspired by the display of the MZ-R900, a fun media player that I only briefly used beefore I got an iPod

It’s a lot of fun trying to work with vrEmuLcd, though I’m still pretty hazy on the details on how the HD44780 works, and there’s some fun™ beehaviour with when I push strings that are too long into it. Still, I have ideas on how I can fix that

@trysdyn there’s not really a standard way to getting something bespoke done from what I’ve seen

Finding an artist that can do all 3 parts (modelling, texturing, rigging) is quite rare! I know of one artist that is capable but can only open once every few months because it’s quite a substantial amount of work

What I’ve seen more commonly is modifying/customising an existing VTuber model base (which I do), or port over a model from like VRChat (which I’ve heard is a bit of work)

kde needs to expand its branding outside of just software. i suggest we start with produce. we need kogurt, kheese, frozen kizza, vegekables, etc. this is how we will get mass user adoption
