Gonna be headed back to Dwarf Fortress this evening on the stream. Goals I want to take on:

- dig a bit deeper to find gemstones and stuff.
- try to establish zones for our fort's military
- build some basic defence if someone attacks us
- maybe make some nicer things to trade

Turns out that digging too deep draws out the troglodyte swarm and a blind cave ogre.

Somehow we survived that encounter without too many casualties.

In any case, we pretty much achieved all our goals:

1. We did get some gemstones and stuff
2. We ended up building a barracks and established a militia to train against future attacks
3. We built a wall to block off the caverns (for now)
4. We did make a bunch of cool stuff from sand into green glass (because clear glass is wayyyyyy more involved)

We did also have to build a hospital and a crypt, which should be useful in the future.
