Redesign has moments of difficulty spikes, previously with Grappling Beam escape (over 15 deaths), and today with Speed Booster escape (3 deaths).
Some items I acquire with ease, but only because of past knowledge and not because it was signposted well (Wave and Spazer Beams).
Purple doors (requiring equivalent of 25 missiles) are bad. I get that you need to signpost the critical path but burning through the very limited ammo I have is not a real nice way to communicate it.
Underwater physics are incredibly sluggish, and precise jumps with falls that require resetting position to recover is extremely bad.
About to tackle lost caves next time so that’ll be fun…
